In our search for happiness, we often turn to the accumulation of possessions, hoping they will bring us the comfort we are longing for. Comfort explores our relationship to valuables - especially jewellery - by subverting traditional archetypes: the necklace becomes a supporting neck pillow or a calming weighted blanket. However, these works also question our consumerist behaviour by exploring the potential suffocating and debilitating side of this bought comfort.
